New Flicks & New Banned Movie!

I know it's been a while since I've posted anything new, and I apologize for that, guys. I've been busy working with a translator to try and get Gangbusters subbed (yes, it might actually be happening!), as well as trying to hunt down more unique and rare films for the channel. Here is a list of everything that's uploaded, coming soon, and the latest banned movie download!

Being uploaded to the channel as I type this is this rare piece of Thai cinema, called Cobra Thunderbolt. If you're thinking this is another vehicle/tank film like "Supervan," then you'd be right, only this one has that Asian flavor to it and that gorgeous eastern 80's lighting that I just eat with a spoon. In it, a paralyzed war vet builds a supertank to take on terrorists with the help of his best friend and his girlfriend, who have their own unique gear. The only version I could find is the English-dubbed one ripped from a VHS with Japanese subtites. The dub is done by those four British actors who dubbed every Asian movie back in the day, so you have been warned. It's still a nice, cheesy flashback to 80's action films, though, so you will not be disappointed!

Here's a movie that was almost lost to the sands of VHS hell--Bimini Code, which was a direct to video feature from 1983. It looks like something someone shot themselves over a weekend or two, but with plenty of chases, underwater scenes, and women in bikins (which makes me wonder if this should be called "Bikini Code" instead). We also have a villainess with an eye patch and some Nazisploitation leanings, a very freaky tarantula, and a thin plot that operates on stilts. What more could you ask for, right? This will be uploaded sometime next week, so watch for it!

And here is the latest BANNED FROM THE CHANNEL download: Probability Zero, a macaroni combat film from 1969 that features a very young Henry Silva as the leader of a covert squad who must infiltrate a Nazi base & retake a secret Allied decoding machine that could turn the tide of the war. This movie was on the channel for almost two years before it was removed and, oddly, moved to someone else's channel, a channel that was either licensing macaroni combat films or just stealing them. My description, my comments, and everything else went with it, and the new owners never removed or replaced them. I never understood exactly what happened, but here is the movie in a nice 700 MB DVD rip in .AVI format off my Google Drive:

Interesting fact: Silva's character is named Duke, and I always wondered if that was the inspiration for the G.I. Joe of the same name. At least Silva didn't get a snake to the heart and somehow survive it, right? ;)

Those are all the updates I have at the moment; if any more come up, I'll be sure to add them to the blog. Take care for now, and enjoy the flicks!
